CONDITIONS FOR WORKSHOP FACILITATORS*

There are two models for events at the IKSK:
A) CO-PRODUCTION
Co-production means we produce the workshop or event together with the workshop leader*. This means that we as IKSK take the risk and bear possible losses, but also participate in possible profits. Furthermore we supervise and promote the event, do the ticketing and - for longer workshops - settle the accounts via our booking system and our administration (Jana). The lecturer* will receive his fee as a bank transfer from us, on account.
Advantage for the lecturers: We advertise the event additionally, take care of the administration and bear possible losses if nobody comes. Disadvantage for the lecturers. If many people come, the profit margin is lower.
In a coproduction we also provide 1-2 hosts for the event who take care of cleanliness, set up and registration. These persons can participate in the workshop for free.
In the COOPRODUCTION MODEL all income is in principle divided 50%/50% between the lecturer*in and IKSK, but there is a minimum and maximum for the IKSK. This means that the first 50 EUR (long classes 100 EUR, full days 200 EUR) always go to the IKSK, after that the split is 50% / 50%. If the share of IKSK has reached a certain maximum, everything else goes to the lecturer*.
- For 60 - 120 minute classes (Yoga, Dance etc) in the big studio during the day the minimum is 50 EUR, i.e. we would like the income to remain with the IKSK up to 50 EUR. The maximum share of IKSK is 100 EUR, if a lot of money is coming in.
- For 3- 4 hours events (evening events) we would like to keep all income up to 100 EUR and stop at a maximum of 200 EUR (300 EUR on weekends) if a lot of money comes in.
- For a full day (7 hours or more) the minimum would be 300 EUR (400 EUR on weekends) and the maximum 400 EUR (500 EUR on weekends - fri sat sun)
So here are some examples:
for ex. a 90 Min Yoga class, in the morning:
5 participants a 10 EUR (average) makes 50.- , so 50.- go to IKSK / 0.- to the lecturer
8 TN = 80 / 50 IKSK / 30 Doz
10 TN = 100.- / 50 IKSK / 50 Doz
15 TN = 150.-/ 75.- IKSK/ 75.- Doz
25 TN = 250.- / 100.- IKSK / 250.- Doz
for ex. a 3-4 hour workshop, in the evening:
5 participants a 30 EUR (average) makes 150, so 100 go to IKSK / 50 to the lecturer
10 TN = 300.- / 150 IKSK / 150 Doz
15 TN = 450.- / 200 IKSK/ 250 Doz
20 TN = 600.- / 200 IKSK / 400 Doz
25 TN = 750.- / 200.- IKSK / 550 Doz
for a 7 - 12 hour workshop (Full day):
5 participants a 80 EUR (average) makes 400, so 300 go to IKSK / 100 to the lecturer
10 TN = 800.- / 300 IKSK / 500 Doz// on fri sat sun 400/ 400
15 TN = 1200.- / 300 IKSK/ 900 Doz // on fri sat sun 400 / 800
20 TN = 1600.- / 300 IKSK / 1500 Doz // on fri sat sun 400/ 1200
25 TN = 2000.- / 300.- IKSK / 1700 Doz // on fri sat sun 400/ 1600
Prices for participants:
- For the evenings of 3-4 hours we suggest a sliding scale: 20 low income / 30 normal income / 40 high income
- For short classes up to 90 mimutes 10 / 15 / 20 EUR
- For full days (7 hours or more) 60/ 80/ 100 EUR
As a lecturer* you can also determine this differently.
B) RENTAL
For rentals, we charge a flat rate of 400 per day, or 200 for the evening (including the rooms large studio, foyer, showers, toilets). 500.-/ 250.- per day on weekends or for groups >30 persons.
A complete WE incl. Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday costs therefore 1250.-. Individual hours in the studio cost 20 EUR, the smaller rooms are rented for 15 EUR per hour.
The tenant* bears the full financial risk if the workshop does not take place, but he/she also receives any surplus if the offer is well received. We only provide the room and make a link on the IKSK website, no further advertising. We do not provide any support or administration, we just open and close the room. The room must be handed over as you find it, any damages must be compensated. A rental can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 weeks before the date, after that 50% is due, from 2 weeks before the date the full rental amount is due, even if the event is cancelled due to lack of participants or for other reasons.
In case of a rental, the tenant* is free in pricing, he/she does the marketing and booking and keeps all surpluses. However, we reserve the right to increase the rental fee the next time if participation fees seem to us to be too high. Renting is always worthwhile if the lecturer* is sure that their offer will sell well.

BEDINGUNGEN FÜR WORKSHOPLEITER*INNEN
Für Veranstaltungen am IKSK gibt es zwei Modelle:
A) KOPRODUKTION
Koproduktion heisst wir produzieren den Workshop oder die Veranstaltung mit der Workshopleiter*in zusammen. Dies bedeutet, wir als IKSK gehen ins Risiko und tragen eventuelle Verluste mit, sind aber auch an eventuellen Gewinnen beteiligt. Ausserdem betreuen wir die Veranstaltung, machen das Ticketing und rechnen bei längeren Workshops über unser Buchungssystem und unsere Verwaltung (Jana) ab. Die Dozent*innen erhalten ihre Gage von uns, gegen Rechnung.
Vorteil für die Dozenten: Wir bewerben das event zusätzlich, kümmern uns um das Administrative und tragen eventuelle Verluste, falls niemand kommt. Nachteil für die Dozenten: Wenn viele Leute kommen ist der Gewinnanteil niedriger.
Bei einer Koproduktion stellen wir auch 1-2 Assistent*innen/ "Hosts" für die Veranstaltung, die sich um die Sauberkeit, den Aufbau und die Anmeldung kümmern. Diese Personen können kostenlos an dem Workshop teilnehmen.
Alle Einnahmen werden beim KOPRODUKTIONSMODELL prinzipiell 50 %/ 50% geteilt zwischen Dozent*in und IKSK, aber es gibt ein Minimum bzw. Maximum für das IKSK. Das heisst die ersten 50.- (bei langen Klassen 100.- / ganzen Tagen 200.-) gehen immer ans IKSK, danach wird 50% / 50% geteilt, wenn der IKSK Anteil höher als das Maximum ist, geht alles übrige an die Dozent*innen.
- Bei 60 - 120 Minuten Klassen (Yoga, Tanz etc) im grossen Studio tagsüber ist das Minimum 50 EUR, d.h. ich möchte dass die Einnahmen bis zu 50.- beim IKSK bleiben. Das Maximalanteil ist 100 EUR, wenn viel reinkommt.
- Bei 3- 4 Stunden events (Abendveranstaltungen ) würde das IKSK alle Einnahmen bis 100.- einbehalten und maximal 200.- ( 250.- am WE) kriegen, wenn viel reinkommt
- Bei ganzen Tagen (7 Std und mehr) ist das Minimum 300.- (400.- am Fr Sa So) und das Maximum 400.- ( 500.- am Fr Sa So)
Also hier zwei Beispiele:

Preise für Teilnehmer*innen:
Für Abende von 3-4 Std würden wir eine Sliding Scale vorschlagen: 20 Niedriges / 30 Normales/
40 Hohes Einkommen
Für Tagesklassen bis 90 min: 10 / 15 / 20 EUR
Für einen ganzen Tag ( 7 - 12 Std): 60 / 80 / 100
Aber das kannst du als Dozent*in auch anders festlegen.
B) VERMIETUNG
Bei Vermietungen nehmen wir 400.- pro Tag pauschal, bzw. 200.- für den Abend (für die Räume grosses Studio, Foyer, Duschen, Toiletten).
500.- pro Tag/ 250.- am Abend am WE (Fr, Sa So) oder bei events mit mehr als 30 Teilnehmer*innen.
Ein komplettes WE inkl. Freitagabend, Samstag, Sonntag kostet also 1250.-. Miete. Einzelne Stunden im grossen Studio kosten 20.- EUR, die kleineren Räume vermieten wir für 15.- die Stunde.
Bei Vermietungen trägt der/die Mieter*in das volle finanzielle Risiko falls der Workshop nicht stattfindet, erhält aber auch alle Überschüsse, wenn das Angebot gut ankommt. Wir stellen nur den Raum und machen einen Link auf der IKSK web site, keine weitere Werbung. Wir stellen keine Betreuung und keine Verwaltung, sondern wir schliessen nur auf und zu. Der Raum muss so übergeben werden wir vorgefunden, eventuelle Schäden sind auszugleichen. Eine Anmietung kann bis 4 Wochen vorher kostenfrei storniert werden, danach sind 50 % fällig, ab 2 Wochen vor dem Termin ist der volle Mietbetrag fällig, auch wenn die Veranstaltung mangels Teilnehmer*innen oder aus anderen Gründen abgesagt wird.
Bei einer Anmietung ist der/ die Mieter*in in der Preisgestaltung frei, er macht das Marketing und Booking und behält alle Überschüsse. Wir behalten uns aber vor die Mietpauschale beim nächsten Mal zu erhöhen, falls uns Teilnahmegebühren übertrieben hoch erscheinen. Die Anmietung lohnt sich immer dann, wenn die Dozent*innen sicher sind, dass sich ihr Angebot gut verkaufen wird.
