DRESS - UNDRESS
Getting naked (with a sexual partner) is often a linear process. One takes off more and more clothes, until in the end they are naked. We cover ourselves with clothes, only when the interaction is over. If I dress before completion is achieved - something went wrong: A boundary was crossed, something was triggered, etc…
In this workshop, we shall zoom-in into the process of undressing and stretch it over a very long period of time, while also playing with its directionality. We shall explore the possibility of taking something off and then putting it, or something else - back again. Not as a part of a seductive technique, but as a result of asking ourselves again and again, in different contexts with different people: How much do I actually want to expose right now? and one moment later? Being sensitive enough to notice what each small difference in covering or uncovering does to us, and respond accordingly and with respect to ourselves. Giving time, space and acknowledgment for the vulnerability of bare skin, for small resistances, hints of shame, jolts of joy and ambivalences..
The workshop will start with a long physical, Feldenkrais like warm up, to connect to sensations and ground in the body. Then we shall play some games with others and with the whole group to build connection and trust, slowly and playfully undressing and dressing (ourselves and others). Participants are encouraged to say no, or check and then say no (or yes). It is definitely possible to paticipate without getting completely
Shyness and shame are cherished and welcomed. Please bring at least one pullover, even it's a very warm day. Come in comfortable cosy clothes or in extravagant/expressive/sexy ones, just make sure they fit for movement.
