Celebrating Grief Together
If you've already suffered the painful loss of someone dear to you, you may have also observed the uncomfortable responses that others occasionally exhibit when faced with death.
Not all friends are skillful to express affection or empathy, and a significant number of them might be unable to understand how to support someone during such difficult times and throughout the deeply personal process of navigating grief.
Death is just one of numerous challenging topics that are often considered taboo, similar to other traumatic experiences, instances of abuse, illnesses, or any other vulnerable situations that we might encounter in our lives.
Inside “the society of spectacle“, it prevails the pressure to broadcast all enjoyable moment –our picturesque experiences, idealized relationships, glamorous trip and even pics of our fanciest meals—across all our social media platforms... But on the other hand, it appears that not much space is left to reveal our intimate selves, particularly when it involves unveiling moments of sadness, discomfort, or frustration.
Sometimes, I have the feeling that in this digital era, real emotions are harvest only for marketing purposes, to define consumer profiles, meanwhile everybody is left alone, starving for a deeper level of human interactions and meaningful connections.
I believe that showcasing only superficial and positive aspects of our lives will not set us free, while a much deeper satisfaction and a higher sense of self and community, and even healing processes can be reach by GRIEVING and CELEBRATING GRIEVING TOGETHER.
For this purpose, I invite you for a night of collective and creative grieving, to confide into a group of strangers, to bear mind, heart and soul.
I trust we will reach together more:
Emotional Balance: Acknowledging our dark emotions, fosters emotional balance, help us to process feelings that might otherwise be suppressed.
Empathy: Sharing our struggles might reminds us that we're not alone in our experiences, nourishing collective empathy, compassion and understanding.
Personal and collective Growth Through Challenge: Discussing difficulties can lead to personal growth as we confront and overcome challenges, we become resilient and stronger.
Psychological Release: Talking about our emotions can be cathartic, providing relief from the weight of repressed feelings, which certainly improves our mental well-being.
Relationship Depth: Meaningful conversations forge stronger bonds, enabling us to truly know and understand others, while also allowing them to know and understand us.
Human Connection: As social beings, who crave genuine connections, to engage in deep conversations and sharing will fulfills our human need.
...and Freedom: Reflecting on our vulnerabilities and embracing our feelings, with radical honesty and a hence of bravery, might free us from cultural conditionings and forced identities; by allowing ourself and others TO BE (different, unique, queer) we will co-create together a different reality, where freedom can replace shame and fear.
This workshop/experience is open to everybody, no matter your age, origin, gender and identity. You can join to witness, support and/or voice ( on your own paste and conditions) your story, trauma, loss, grief, and any kind of personal experience you choose to bring attention to. We will use creatives tools, to involve our body into this process.
Looking forward to create our experimental and evolutive journey together.
Feel free to bring any kind of symbolic objects, tools, inspiring or magic references, input, poetry or creative support you identify as part of your grieving journey.
The workshop is held in English, but spontaneous and inclusive translations in German, French, Spanish and Italian are possible.
